A Powerball ticket sold in Washington won $150,000 but just missed the $320 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The ticket matched four of five winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play in the drawing Saturday, March 8, Washington’s Lottery said. The winning ticket was sold at a Safeway in Seattle, lottery officials said.

While a ticket will cost more than twice as much starting April 5, Mega Millions officials say the odds of winning the jackpot will improve. There will also be larger starting jackpots and the size of the jackpots will jump more quickly.
