The hunt for the shooter that left two students dead and nine injured at one of the nation’s top universities stretches into a fifth day.

Ella Cook and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov were killed in a shooting at Brown University. School officials sent students home amid the manhunt for the shooter.

A woman was killed, and four men were injured in a mass shooting in East Baltimore on Monday night, according to police. An officer was in the area of Belair Road and Mayfield Avenue around 10:50 p.m. when he heard gunshots. He responded to the scene to find two men, ages 20 and 24, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, police said.

EAST LANSING, MI – A 23-year-old has been charged with open murder for the shooting death of another man at an East Lansing apartment complex. Peiyun Qin was arraigned on Tuesday, Dec. 16, in Ingham County District Court on charges for allegedly killing 37-year-old Feng Lin.

Rhode Island Hospital officials said seven victims of the shooting remain at the hospital, where several are in critical condition.

Police in Walpole were investigating a shooting Wednesday at a Jiffy Mart on Main Street. There was no immediate word on any injuries. Police said everyone involved in the shooting is accounted for, and they don't believe there is any threat to the public.

A 10-year-old boy in Louisiana was arrested after police said they believe he intentionally shot an 8-year-old earlier this month.
