A winter storm is moving through metro Atlanta and north Georgia. Here's what Severe Weather Team 2 says you can expect this afternoon.

Officials at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport said several people were injured when they had to evacuate a Delta Air Lines flight after the plane had a problem with its engines. WSB reported that Delta initially said no one was hurt, but airport officials said that four people had minor injuries.

North Georgia experienced a winter wonderland on Friday as several inches of snow blanketed the area. Severe Weather Team 2 Meteorologist Brian Monahan says snow will continue in the mountains and occasionally mix with sleet through Friday.

The storm is expected to dump snow, sleet and freezing rain across the Southeast before moving up to the Mid-Atlantic.
