Jadon Sancho could yet end up back at Manchester United this summer if Chelsea decide to back out of a permanent deal. The former Borussia Dortmund star joined the Blues on a season-long loan last summer after three disappointing seasons at Old Trafford.

Sancho was singled out by Manchester United minority shareholder Sir Jim Ratcliffe on Monday as the INEOS boss admitted the Red Devils had to pay off another chunk of Sancho’s £73m transfer fee this summer following his move from Dortmund.
