UPDATE: Winter storm watch affecting Northern California for Thursday and Friday – up to 12 inches of snow
At 2:01 p.m. on Wednesday, the NWS Sacramento CA released an updated winter storm watch valid from Thursday 11 p.m. until Friday 11 p.m. The watch is for Shasta Lake and Mountains Southwestern Shasta County to Western Colusa County as well as Shasta County.
The storm is set to bring heavy snow, heavy rain and strong winds across the Golden State through Thursday night.
