The Los Angeles Rams lost Nick Caley this offseason when he was hired as the Houston Texans’ offensive coordinator but it didn’t take them long to find his replacement. According to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network,

Scott Huff, the last vestige of Kalen DeBoer's University of Washington football coaching staff still residing in the city, has been hired by the Los Angeles Rams after getting let go by the Seattle Seahawks,

Caley joined the Rams in 2023 as tight ends coach and was promoted to double duty as passing game coordinator in 2024. Prior to coaching alongside McVay, he spent eight years as an assistant with the New England Patriots. Caley also coached under Bill Belichick, adding further intrigue to his coaching roots.

The Los Angeles Rams have lost several assistants on Sean McVay’s coaching staff this offseason, including Nick Caley, who was hired to be the Houston Texans’ new offensive coordinator.
