The last of the ACC’s old guard, Leonard Hamilton, is resigning after this season. This means, for the first time in over two decades, Florida State needs a new men’s basketball coach.

The ACC has seen a few legendary coaches retire recently. Roy Williams stepped down from UNC following the 2021 season, Coach K stepped down from Duke following the 2022 season, Tony Bennett shockingly retired from Virginia before the season, and Jim Larranaga stepped down from Miami during the winter break.

Florida State coach Leonard Hamilton is resigning from his position following the season's conclusion and will not return to the program for the 2025-26 season, the school announced on Monday.
