Update: 10,425 acres affected in Los Angeles County by Hughes Fire, still 90% contained
Hughes Fire initially started 10:53 a.m. Jan. 22 in Los Angeles County. It has burned 10,425 acres after being active for four days. By Sunday morning, the fire crew succeeded in containing 90% of the wildfire. The cause is, however, still being investigated.

Breaking: New wildfire reported in Los Angeles County on Jan. 26
A new wildfire was reported today at 11:41 a.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.

California fires live updates: Los Angeles County fires death toll rises to 28
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in an update Thursday that 18 people remain missing after the Southern California wildfires. Overall, authorities received a total of 43 missing persons reports related to the Eaton and Palisades fires. Of those, 12 were located safe.
