Kevin Durant is the latest name in the rumor mill, with the desperate Golden State Warriors looking for any way to make a last run or two with Stephen Curry. They are combing the league for available stars, and Durant’s name immediately surfaced.

Durant is currently averaging 26.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists per game. The two-time NBA champion has led Phoenix to the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference standings with a 25-23 record. Butler has averaged 17.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game. He's been suspended indefinitely due to conduct detrimental to the team.

It looks like at least one more superstar is in play before Thursday's deadline: Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant. Phoenix isn't planning to trade Durant, necessarily. But according to Jake Fischer,
