Finnish director Zaida Bergroth ("Tove") is set to direct a Marianne Faithfull biopic titled "Marianne" with "Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes" star Freya Allan playing the swinging London pop star who passed away in January.

Marianne Faithfull was more than a muse, as she wrote some beautiful songs about moving topics, including losing loved ones.

As was her final wish, Marianne Faithfull has been laid to rest in the peaceful churchyard of St Mary’s Aldworth, next to her mother’s grave. A Swinging 60s survivor, the iconic singer and actor died, aged 78, in London on January 30.
