China has revived antitrust investigations into Google and Nvidia, while considering a new probe against Intel, as Beijing looks for leverage in talks with US President Donald Trump.

China's response to a 10% tariff on imported goods enacted by the US on Feb. 4 includes an antitrust probe of Google and the targeting of other US companies including Nvidia and possibly chipmaker Intel.

China said it was opening an antitrust probe into Google, part of a series of actions Tuesday that also included tariffs on U.S. coal and liquefied natural gas imports as well as restrictions on the export of certain metals.
