Federal court documents obtained by Local 10 News on Wednesday identify the three men suspected of smuggling more than two dozen migrants — mostly from China — into South Florida.

Nearly 30 people were taken into custody in Coral Gables Friday as part of an investigation into a possible human smuggling or trafficking operation, authorities said.

Coral Gables police detained individuals suspected of human smuggling; a U-Haul van with mostly Chinese migrants was stopped. An investigation and support by U.S. Border Patrol is ongoing.
