Ryan Preece has walked away after a spectacular crash during the closing laps of the 2025 Daytona 500, going airborne and flipping down the Daytona backstretch and up the banking in Turn 3. Christopher Bell won Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta with a last-lap pass before a crash on the backstretch. Bell passed Kyle Larson on the last lap and finished ahead of Larson and Carson Hocevar as Josh Berry got crashed on the final lap when he was squeezed in the middle of a three-wide scenario.

The win puts Bell on the NASCAR playoffs grid just two races into the season, setting up his shot at redemption after he narrowly missed out on the Championship 4 a year ago despite having arguably the best statistical season in Cup -- and he also earns his first win in a superspeedway-style race.

Ryan Blaney, the recent Cup champion who came within 0.003 seconds of Daniel Suárez, won the pole position to lead the field to green. Ford drivers own nine of the first 10 starting positions in Sunday’s race — including all four members of the Team Penske/Wood Brothers Racing alliance on the front two rows.
