MILAN – Inter Milan and AC Milan on March 11 made official their joint bid to build a new stadium on the site of the iconic San Siro, after presenting a feasibility study to local authorities in the northern Italian city.

Inter Milan owners Oaktree Capital and AC Milan’s RedBird have asked the city of Milan for more time on the new San Siro project.This according to Italian outlet Calcio e Finanza. They report that

AC Milan and Inter have submitted a proposal to acquire San Siro and surrounding areas, aiming to complete the process by July 2025.

The Corriere della Sera report that new traffic restrictions will be applicable to any event at the San Siro with over 30,000 spectators. Therefore, it will certainly apply to any Inter or Milan matches. The restrictions will apply three hours before the start time of any event.

Inter and AC Milan have announced that they have filed the famous DOCFAP with the City Council, the project feasibility document for the construction of the new stadium.As La Gazzetta dello Sport
