One person died and two were injured Monday night in a shooting in Fairhill, Philadelphia police said. Police responded to the shooting on the 2800 block of Reese Street shortly after 7:30 p.m., according to police.

Police say they responded to a man who was stabbed and walking in the roadway early Monday morning. A physical altercation ensued, then an officer discharged his weapon.

The 36-year-old man was fatally shot at the I-95 ramp to the Philadelphia International Airport, police said. A Philadelphia police officer shot and killed a man who got into a physical struggle with another officer on the southbound ramp of I-95 early Monday, police said.
