The WWE pocketed a cool $5 billion from Netflix in the deal with the streaming service. But wrestling fans were wary of the move, as Netflix's early forays into the live sports genre had come with mixed results.

WWE fans turning into the first Raw after the Royal Rumble experienced several technical issues. Posts on social media show buffering, stuttering at commentary dropping out at points during the international presentation. It marks the first time such issues have arisen since the WWE joined Netflix earlier this year.

On the January 6th episode of WWE Raw, The Rock thanked Netflix CEO Ted Sarandos for putting WWE on the platform. During the Netflix fourth-quarter earnings call (via Investing ), Sarandos commented on WWE's start on the streaming service.

Netflix and WWE nearly made it a whole month of streaming Raw without any major technical hiccups, but that streak was broken on Monday night. Throughout the February 3rd episode, viewers were frustrated by the feed intermittently cutting out to a black screen.
