The combination of cool temperatures and showery weather has meant Willamette Valley snow is possible at lower elevations throughout this week.

The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 3:38 a.m. EST on Thursday in effect until 9 a.m. EST for Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, St. Clair, Livingston, Oakland and Macomb counties.
