Parma have parted ways with manager Fabio Pecchia, the Serie A club said on Monday, after a fourth consecutive defeat kept the promoted side in the relegation zone. Parma has dismissed their manager Fabio Pecchia after a series of defeats placed them in the Serie A relegation zone. Despite a recent contract renewal until 2027, Pecchia's exit follows a winless streak and a slip to 18th place.

Parma hired Cristian Chivu on Tuesday after sacking Fabio Pecchia for a seven-match winless run which has plunged the team into the Serie A relegation zone.Former Romania defender Chivu will take on his first senior coaching role after reportedly agreeing to a contract with Parma until the end of next season.
