Alabama State stunned Saint Francis with a Hail Mary pass from Micah Simpson and layup from Amarr Knox to win the First Four game.

Alabama State and Saint Francis were two of the lowest-rated teams in the NCAA Tournament, but they staged a classic Tuesday.

Amarr Knox’s layup with a second left lifted Alabama State to its first NCAA Tournament win, 70-68 over Saint Francis (PA) in a matchup of No. 16 seeds at the First Four.

The bracket is set, which means the First Four games can begin.The First Four features four games ahead of the official 64-team NCAA Tournament. It's one last hump some teams need to overcome in order to reach the Big Dance.

Alabama State won its First Four game on Tuesday with a buzzer-beating shot to earn a matchup against Auburn at Rupp Arena.
