The NWS says excessive rainfall is expected to cause flooding along the Russian River, affecting roadways and agricultural land.

So here’s how it probably goes: Light snow and freezing rain develop Wednesday night and continue only until mid-morning Thursday. Snowfall across the southern half of Lower Michigan will only be an inch or two. Snowfall across northern Lower Michigan will only be one to three inches.
