The Kremlin said contacts between the U.S. and Russia had taken place, the first time Moscow has hinted the two countries are discussing a potential plan to end fighting in Ukraine.

The Kremlin on Wednesday labelled Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s demand for nuclear weapons as ‘bordering on madness’. Kremlin spokesman, Dmitry Peskov stated this while speaking to journalists in the Russian capital Moscow.
