Interpol posts alert for Pitt student missing in Dominican Republic
Interpol has issued a yellow alert for University of Pittsburgh student Sudiksha Konanki, who went missing a week ago from a beach in the Dominican Republic. The alert was posted by the International Criminal Police Organization,
The Loudoun County Sheriff's Office in Virginia said U.S. investigators interviewed a person of interest at length.
Local media previously reported that authorities quickly came to believe that Konanki, 20, drowned after going in the water after a night out with friends.
