SONG OF FAREWELL The Rite of Final Commendation is the official prayer of the Church, entrusting our departed loved ones to the tender and merciful embrace of the Father. The rite concludes with the Song of Farewell, put into a melody for all to sing. This version of the Song of Farewell, composed by Fr.
