For all who know the stress of losing navigation ability in a tunnel, we created The Waze Beacon, inspired by the City of Boston. And now, it’s home to our largest beacons project to date: 1,100 of beacons across 54 different tunnels & 35 underground forks and merges. This means safer roads, fewer crashes & more hazard notifications in the once “tunnel blind” city roads. Thanks to the #ConnectedCitizens MassDOT partnership, which brought it all to life. | Waze
