Renewables are BY FAR the cheapest source of electricity for Aussies, according to the independent experts at CSIRO. The new GenCost report finds solar and wind backed up by storage costs between $101-$142 per megawatt hour, versus large-scale nuclear that’s as much as $252 or nuclear SMR that is a whopping $400-$663.
